Map
1 inch square of left over cloth, they are old shirts,
sheets, neckties and Japanese kimonos, tenugui,
it means Japanese towels, yarns from my weaving
not being put to good use.
I could use glue,
but I decided I saw the edge of each piece of cloth by hand.
During making this one I became empty.
I felt emptiness and try to listen to my heart and
follow the path one by one.
I didn’t know which direction it was going.
This map will be spreading out more but I had to stop it to complete because the time to meet the deadline.
